الجليل الأسفل هو الجزء الجنوبي من منطقة الجليل الواقعة شمال فلسطين. يمثل الجليل الأسفل المنطقة الممتدة بين الجليل الأعلى شمالاً ومرج ابن عامر جنوباً. يتميز عن الجليل الأعلى بكون جباله أقل ارتفاعاً ويفصل بينها سهول واسعة ممتدة من الشرق إلى الغرب، مما جعله عبر التاريخ منطقة استقرار بشري وزراعي هامة وطريقاً تجارياً حيوياً.
